See the re-envisioned classic story

Disney isn't the only home to Cinderella: BalletMet is premiering its brand new production of Cinderella on March 20 in the Riffe Center's Capitol Theatre.

BalletMet's artistic director Edwaard Liang has re-envisioned this classic story, as set to the beautiful music of Ukrainian composer Sergei Prokofiev. Shows will run through March 29, but hurry to get your tickets as they are selling fast (an extra show was just added).

And for the little princess in your life, join Cinderella and other special guests at The Capital Club (41 S. High St. in downtown Columbus) for a delightfully delicious Princess Tea before watching the matinee ballet performances on Saturday, March 21 and Saturday, March 28. Come dressed in princess attire to have your photo taken with Cinderella characters! Attendees will be served assorted tea sandwiches, fresh fruit and vegetables, miniature cream puffs, cookies, chocolate treats and more! Visit www.BalletMet.org/RSVP for more information.

Tickets to Cinderella start at $25 and can be purchased at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St. or 614.469.0939) and all Ticketmaster outlets (800.982.2787, www.ticketmaster.com). Group discounts are available through the BalletMet Box Office (614.586.8665). College students with ID can purchase Student Rush tickets at the theatre two hours prior to show time.
