Featuring music from Star Wars and Harry Potter

The Central Ohio Symphony has planned two special concerts this upcoming weekend featuring the music from the Star Wars and Harry Potter movies. The first concert will be at Marysville High School, in Marysville,at7 p.m.onThursday, Nov. 19. VIP tickets, which include a pre-concert reception at Hinkley's Restaurant in Marysville, are $50; regular tickets are $25. All seating is reserved.

The second concert will be in the Symphony's home in Gray Chapel on the Ohio Wesleyan University main campus onFriday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m.VIP tickets for premium seating in the balcony and main floor for $35; regular tickets are $25. All seating is reserved.

Both concerts will feature the Star Wars Suite and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, both by composer John Williams. The Harry Potter work will be narrated with references to the book. The Symphony will also perform Mars, the Bringer of War from Gustav Holst's The Planets, a work that served as inspiration for the Star Wars music.
