New way to be thankful this Thursday

We know that many families take a moment before Thanksgiving to dinner to count their blessings.

This year rather than just going around the table and naming something for which you're thankful, consider preserving those sentiments.

The easiest way to do this is to write everyone's response in a journal that you add to every year. If you want to launch the idea in style, create a special Thanksgiving tablecloth. It's easy to do: Purchase a light colored tablecloth and fabric markers. Invite your dinner guests to write something that they are grateful on the tablecloth. Little ones can draw a picture to illustrate their blessings.

You can use the tablecloth year after year so it becomes part of the fabric of your celebration.
