A salute to all Grove City area veterans, active members of the military and their families will take place during the Blast at Beulah, Grove City’s Independence celebration on July 4.
The salute is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
Veterans and active military members who plan to attend should call 277-3015 by Monday, June 30, to make reservations.
The Blast at Beulah is set for Friday, July 4 at Beulah Park, 3664 Grant Ave. The gates open at 5:30 p.m.
“Bring the entire family to experience one of the premier central Ohio celebrations of American independence,” urged a Grove City spokeswoman. “Enjoy live entertainment from regional favorite, McGuffey Lane, as well as plenty of family activities and appearances by 95.5, The Hawk personalities.”
Many activities are planned for children by Grove City Parks and Recreation and T.W.I.G. 184 beginning at 6 p.m.
Fireworks start at approximately 10 p.m. and will be simulcast on radio station 95.5, The Hawk.
The event is free, but there is a $5 fee to park in the lot.
