Become a Stratford Farm & Nature Guide Volunteer
Stratford is dedicated to the education of children and adults toward understanding the relationships between living things and their environment, thereby fostering an appreciation of the land and all life that depends on it. We are looking for dedicated volunteers for farm and nature guides who will lead a small group of children on an adventure around our farm and nature preserve. Annual Sternwheel
Rockin Rib Fest
The 8th annual Rib Fest kicks off at 6 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Enjoy a concert and some of the tastiest ribs around. The Rib Fest is at the Lafayette Hotel parking lot in Marietta. Admission is $15 for 12 and older, $10 under 12, and kids under 5 are free.

Teen Volunteers
Got some great ideas for teen programs? Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join the library's Teen Advisory Board that will meet from 7-8 p.m. Well discuss future teen programs and help the library. Applications are available at the youth services desk. For more details, visit

Columbus Food & Wine Festival
This proven event provides the setting for more than 25 of central Ohio's finest restaurants to display their most delectable offerings, and it opens the door to over 450 international wines. Add to that an abundant silent auction and beautiful music, and you have all the ingredients necessary to create a spectacular evening. Best of all, the gala affair benefits a number of Columbus-area charities and the Central Ohio Restaurant Association. The Grand Tasting, open to the public, is set for 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 E. Broad St., Columbus. Visit for details and tickets.

The Crew vs. New England Revolution

Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House: A Centennial Tribute
A visual retrospective with accompaniment by the Springfield Symphony will celebrate the innovative design of Wright, Springfields golden era and the life of the Westcott House. This event is at the Clark State Performing Arts Center, 300 S. Movies at the Library
