Thanksgiving Day Columbus Turkey Trot and Columbus Parent Magazine Walk and Talk
This year's goal is to raise over $20,000 for Central Ohio Easter Seals. Their efforts to provide services to kids with autism and their families. The Chase Turkey Trot is a 5-mile walk/ run starting at 9 a.m. Also at 9 is the 2-mile Columbus Parent Magazine Walk and Talk. Register at www.ColumbusTurkeyTrot.com. Meet at the Shops on Lane Ave.

Princess Tea
Our princesses will dress up in our beautiful gowns. They will receive a tiara at our coronation ceremony, color a castle, listen to a princess story, dance to princess music in our thousands of bubbles and enjoy a tea party with a pretty cup to take home. Children can bring gowns from home or wear one of the gowns. Grownups can enjoy lemonade and a dessert as well. The tea party is at 146 E. Best Bartender in Columbus 2009 Competition
alive! is hosting the first Best Bartender in Columbus competition TONIGHT -- Thursday, November 19 -- at The Lodge Bar from 8-10 p.m. The final four bartenders will mix it up, only to be judged on the spot by mixed-drink experts, for the $1,000 grand prize. Get the moms together for a fun night out.

Studio J's Thanksgiving Preparation Workshop
Get into the spirit of Thanksgiving with this memorable workshop. Enjoy creating a tabletop tree, decorating vests for boys and Native American dresses for girls, and learning some Thanksgiving songs and dances. Pre-registration for the event is required by emailing jacyorig@aol.com. Tickets are $20 for boys and $27 for girls due to extra material for dresses. The workshop is at 146 E. Olentangy St. in Powell. The workshop from 1 2 p.m. is for all ages and the 2:15 3:15 p.m. session is geared toward ages 12 months to 5 years.
