CAPA Presents A Christmas Carol
This is the timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and his search for the true spirit of Christmas. The performances are November 27 at 7:30 p.m.; November 28 and 29 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Ohio Theatre ticket office, or at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets start at $22.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
The Herdmans return to CCT in this hilarious Christmas tale. A couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids, probably the most inventively awful kids in history! You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! Tickets start at $9 and are available by calling (614) 224-6672. The play will be performed at Columbus Children's Theatre, 512 Park St., on November 27, December 4, 11, and 18 at 7:30 p.m.; November 28, December 5, 12, 19 at 1, 3 and 5 p.m.; November 29, December 6, 13, and 20 at 1 and 3 p.m.; and December 3, 10, and 17 at 7:30 p.m.

Tree Lighting Ceremony
Bring the whole family to enjoy twinkling lights, ultimate shopping, festive fireworks, and even a glimpse of Santa. The ceremony begins at 5:45 p.m., but come early for shopping and dining. The ceremony is at Longaberger Homestead, 5563 Raiders Rd., Frazeyburg.
