Take your kids to the North Pole!

Friends, I am excited to share a fun website with you: www.northpole.com. If you have little ones at home, or if you're a teacher, this is going to give you lots of fun ideas and activities to prepare for Santa's arrival.

The site offers free things to do such as a Q&A with Santa, and letters to Santa which will get an actual response from the big man himself. Your child can also chat with the elves. On Christmas Eve, follow the Santa Tracker to see where Santa is delivering his toys. Also, visit the Elf Academy which offers stories to read and color, and many other activities.

My favorite thing about the site is Mrs. Claus's Cookbook. Just click this link www.northpole.com/Kitchen/Cookbook. It gives you access into all of the wonderful recipes in Mrs. Claus' Cookbook. Click on the category you want and choose from Cookies, Fudge & Candy, Cakes, Pies, Other Recipes and Breads. Once you choose your category, a list comes up and you just click on the recipe you want.

I have been having a lot of fun reading through all the different recipes. When you click on the "Other Recipes" category, you will get recipes from rib roast, cheese balls, cranberry salads, and spiced pecans to broccoli casserole.

Whether you have children or not, I encourage you to take a look at this site. It has something for the child in all of us.

For now, happy shopping!
