Great Mates

AllerMates ($6.99) are the cute, colorful wristbands that kids with food allergies can wear, alerting others to foods they should avoid, like peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk, wheat/gluten, shellfish and more. The wristbands are adjustable (and considered suitable for ages 2+), plus they are free of latex, nickel, BPA, lead and phthalates.

Bento to Go

If the kids are taking their lunch to summer camp or are simply on the go this summer, pack food in Innobaby's Keepin' Fresh Stainless Bento ($17.95). It's double-walled and leakproof, making it perfect to store sandwiches or other lunchtime food. The 15-ounce container will keep eats fresh and protect the temperature of the food. And who can resist the cute alligator pattern?

String It Up!

Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like, well, a Happy Birthday banner. We found this one on Etsy. It's custom-made by Columbus-based dfmi designs from sturdy cardstock that will last for years. Each 8-1/2" wide and 11" long letter costs $2, so that's $26 plus shipping for these two words, but you can also add a string with the birthday boy or girl's name.
