Want to hold on to the special valentine you receive this year? Use this decorative clothespin magnet to hang Valentine's Day keepsakes on your refrigerator or school locker. They're easy to make and in one night you can make enough to hand out with your class valentines.
1. Trace the flat side of a clothespin onto your decorative paper and cut out.
2. Use a light layer of tacky glue to attach the paper to the clothespin. Let dry.
3. Cut out a heart shape from the stiffened felt that is about 2 inches to 3 inches tall. Cut out smaller heart shapes from your felt scraps. Layer these on top of the larger heart.
4. Glue this whole thing on the top of the papered side of the clothespin.
5. Flip the clothespin over and glue a magnet on the back. Let dry.
6. Use glitter, buttons or googly eyes to embellish the valentine clothespins to your heart's delight!
