Additional information: Intermediate to advanced high school jazz students receive an in-depth and comprehensive experience at the Ohio State Jazz Camp. Participants will work side by side with jazz faculty and School of Music students to enhance and improve skills such as sight-reading, improvisation, and technique. Each day is filled with exciting class work, informative master classes, energetic combo sessions, big band rehearsals, and unique concert-going experiences. The noncompetitive, educational environment allows for individual growth and collaboration. Students may opt to enjoy the full college experience by residing on campus during the week or may commute from home.
