WHAT YOU NEED Holiday gift wrap or scrapbook paper One sheet of white cardstock Clear glue – e.g., school glue, Mod Podge, etc. String Scissors Hole Puncher Clothespins (or binder clips) (.pdf) template HOW YOU DO IT

1. Draw a basic, round ornament shape or print off the free template. Cut out the template and set aside.

2. Use your holiday gift-wrap paper and clear glue to create a collage on the sheet of card stock. Let dry. (Drying time is a perfect opportunity to indulge in holiday treats!)

3. Turn collage sheet over to face blank-side up. Trace ornament template four times and cut out.

4. Use the hole puncher to make a hole at the top of each ornament.

5. Fold each ornament in half, length-wise. The blank side should have the "mountain" of the fold and the collaged side should have the "valley" of the fold.

6. Apply glue generously to the blank side of each ornament, leaving the area around the hole dry. Line up the rounded sides and attach the four ornaments together. Hold together with clothespins until glue is dry.

7. When the ornament has dried, remove clothespins and weave string through the holes at the top.

8. Hang the ornament on your tree and enjoy it for many years to come!
