HOPE AND HEALING
Columbus Children's Theatre presents a regional premiere of John Kaasik's Healers in the Forest Feb. 12-22 at its Park Street Theatre. The story tells of a sick boy taken by a mysterious girl to "The Healers" - fairylike children who have the power to heal people through dance - and his efforts to help her after learning she violated the king's decree to take him to them. This hourlong play is recommended for ages 4 and older. Tickets are $30/$20 for adults, $25/$15 for children and senior citizens.

Buzz, Tink, Ariel and all of their friends will take to the Nationwide Arena ice when Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy Feb. 18-22 (nine shows). Stunts, thrills and magic combine with world-class skating and dazzling lights and special effects. Tickets are $23-$58.

Share in the beloved story of Babar and Friends with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Capitol Theatre in the Riffe Center. This hourlong adaptation, based on the characters created by Jean de Brunhoff, is set to music by French composer Francis Poulenc. The Actors' Theatre of Columbus Education Program joins in the fun. Tickets are $15.70 for adults, $10.60 for children.

Pleasure Guild of Nationwide Children's Hospital will present its 58th annual musical production Feb. 27 through March 1 at the Palace Theatre. This year's offering is Willy Wonka, the stage musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It features songs from the 1971 film based on the book. The local cast includes a host of young central Ohio actors. Pleasure Guild raises funds in support of the work of Nationwide Children's Hospital. Tickets are $15-$40.

EVENING AT THE MUSEUM
Ever wonder if museum exhibits really do come to life after hours? The Ohio History Connection offers a chance to find out Saturday, Feb. 28, with Night at the Museum, an after-hours event from 7-9:30 p.m. that promises to be fun for the whole family. Cost is $12 for adults, $9 for youth (age 6-12) and free for children ages 5 and younger. Reservations are required.
