Happy month o' green! How to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the kids without losing your mojo? (The college kegs-and-eggser force in you is strong!) Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club in Dublin is hosting a St. Patrick's Day four-mile run. Slap on your green gear and take the kids for a jog. The March 14 event is followed by a post-race concert where you can grab a beer and cheer Sláinte! Easton Town Center is also offering a Saturday shindig since the big day falls on a Tuesday. Hit up the shopping center's afternoon block party March 14 for beer, food and kid-friendly performances by Irish step dancers and bands.
Go green in another manner and get a jump-start on spring cleaning with Fashion Forward for Charity. The new clothing donation program takes gently used designer clothes and donates 50 percent of net proceeds from your giveaway to a charity of your choice. Last month Boline Apothecary, an herbal remedies store, opened new doors in the heart of Clintonville at 15 W. Dunedin Road.
