Meet an Enterprising Powell Teenager
WHO: Emily Laine Miller
WHERE: The Millers' home
WHEN: June 29, 2017
THE BACKSTORY: Back-to-school time is here already. Emily Laine Miller of Powell is hoping that numerous Central Ohio students return to class sporting a new backpack from the company she and her mother, Lisa Laine Miller, started. Emily's entrepreneurial streak runs in the family: Both of her parents have businesses. She started out selling homemade keychains. Now, through Laine Avenue, the Millers are selling backpacks and enlisting other students to do the same to earn extra cash. Learn more about Emily and Laine Avenue in “Entrepreneurial Endeavor”.
