Don't miss our Teachers of the Year awards, ideas for summer fun and lots more.
Our Summer issue is out, and we want to make sure you don’t miss it. We announce the results of our seventh Teachers of the Year awards, offer loads of ideas for socially distanced summer fun and more.
Our lead feature, in which four local moms and dads write about their experiences parenting during the pandemic, is a must-read. They talk about struggles, of course, but also how they learned a lot about their kids and found unexpected bright spots and gratitude.
You’ll also find a story about the day care dilemma parents and child care centers are facing, a feature on Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers, a Q&A with Dr. Mysheika Roberts of Columbus Public Health, a dining review, a list of online entertainment options and much more.
We know it’s been tough for some readers to grab a print copy of the magazine because of the ongoing closure of schools, libraries and other gathering places that serve as distribution spots for Columbus Parent. You can still use our ZIP code search to find a pickup spot near you, but be advised that some of the nearly 800 locations on that list either are closed or are not accepting print publications right now, so we suggest calling before you stop by.
We also offer a digital version of Parent that is an exact replica of the print magazine. Like the print product, it also is free. Just click on E-Edition at the top of our website, columbusparent.com, or go directly to this link to read the digital copy of the Summer issue, as well as past issues.
