Firefly Play Café (4822 N. High St. (Beechwold/North Clintonville), Columbus 43214; 614-230-2375; fireflyplaycafe.com) Story times, music and art classes. Coffee, tea, snacks.

Little Green House Play Café (808 Grandview Ave. (Grandview Heights), Columbus 43215; 614-732-5328; On Facebook: LittleGreenHousePlayCafe) Also offers a take-home meal service (bellwetherkitchen.com).

Little Skipper's Play Café (3615 Fishinger Blvd., Hilliard 43026; 614-771-9281; littleskippersplaycafe.com) Ages 6 and under. Coffee, tea, beverages, snacks.

peapod play cafe (4874 Thompson Road, Columbus 43230; 614-855-2517; peapodplaycafe.com) Ages 7 and under, must be walking. Music and art classes. Coffee and children's snacks.

piccadilly modern play & creative café. (2501 E. Main St., Bexley 43209; 614-725-0204; piccadillydally.com) Ages 11 and under. Wide variety of classes offered. Drop-off sessions. Extensive menu includes take away items.

Treehive Café + play. (337 W. Olentangy St., Powell 43065; 614-681-1456; treehivecafe.com) Ages 7 and under, must be walking. Drop-off service available for up to three hours on Monday, Friday and Saturday evenings for potty-trained children. Coffee, drinks, kids meals, breakfast and lunch menus. Formerly operated at Lattes & Lollipops.

Treehouse Play Café. (3455 Grove City Road, Grove City, 43136; 614-594-3303; playtreehousecafe.com) Ages 7 and under. Located in Grove City's Town Center. Coffee counter is expertly run, also offers bottled drinks and kid-friendly snacks.

The Well (203 S. Broad St., Lancaster 43130; 740-573-7011; On Facebook: The Well) Space includes play area, art gallery, local artisan retail space and dining. Extensive menu includes healthful foods, coffee, tea, smoothies, fresh juices.

Zen Kidz Play Café (43 E. Home St., Westerville 43081; 614-890-PLAY; zenkidzplaycafe.com) Ages 7 and under. Daily art and music activities. Coffee, tea, beverages, breakfast and lunch items. A nut-free facility.
