Lego fans and master builders will descend on the Ohio Expo Center later this month as a convention dedicated to the ubiquitous bricks sets up shop.

The BrickUniverse Lego Fan Convention runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 25 and 26 in Kasich Hall at the expo center, 717 E. 17th Ave., Columbus. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door (if not sold out), free for ages 2 and younger.

BrickUniverse offers Lego and Duplo play areas, building competitions, and numerous displays and galleries featuring models from professional Lego artists. This year’s artists include E.J. Bocan III of Cleveland, Jonathan Lopes of San Diego and Rocco Buttliere of Chicago.

The traveling exhibition also has stops scheduled in St. Louis; Oklahoma City; Lexington, Kentucky; and Chattanooga and Knoxville, Tennessee. For more information, go to brickuniverse.com/columbus.
