The amusement park, which has been voted many times the "Best Amusement Park in the World," will present its 13th annual Halloween event. On the slate for this year are two new haunted houses. Wander through the spooky halls of G.A. Boeckling's Eerie Estate, or visit Happy Jack's Toy Factory. Keep in mind -- at Happy Jack's Toy Factory, not all the toys want to be your friend.

Those who are young (or simply young at heart) will love the familiar characters, floats and giant inflatables in the parade (Saturdays and Sundays at 4 p.m.), and the younger ones will love the the Magical House on Boo Hill and Planet Spooky. As you make your way through the park, various creatures will be lurking to make sure you are properly welcomed to the park.

Along with taking in all the special Halloween attractions, park visitors also can enjoy a last opportunity to ride their favorites thrill rides before Cedar Point closes for the season (not all rides will be open during HalloWeekends). While a number of rides will be open, there will be limited ride availability on Fridays and Camp Snoopy will be closed. Haunted outdoor scare zones will be closed on all Sundays with the exception of October 11.

Those who have been to Cedar Point know it is a roller coaster fan's dream come true. With awards for the fastest, steepest, tallest, and wildest coasters Cedar Point continuously offers new rides to keep the thrills going.

Cedar Point also offers visitors plenty of other rides and attractions. Carousels, children's areas, wild thrill rides, live entertainment, classic cars, bumper cars and much more will keep you and your family busy. During the regular season, visitors can enjoy Soak City and Challenge Park (Challenge Park requires separate admission). Cedar Point is located on the shore of Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio.
