Description: Creative Summer Workshops are weeklong hands-on courses at CCAD. These subject-specific classes (photography, animation, etc.) give students a chance to develop their skills in a creative and mentoring environment. Classes typically run from 9 a.m.-noon or 1:30-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Cost: $180, includes all materials

Description: Mold clay on a potter's wheel, sculpt, draw or paint with a variety of materials, make paper or explore acting techniques in- and outdoors. Full and half day sessions, content and age levels vary by week.

Description: Students in this first-experience class use "sprinkles" called frit and glass noodles to create four 6x6-inch masterpieces. This workshop not only offers a hands-on art activity, but alsoteaches art lessons such as color layering andcombination as well as some of the science behind glass.

Description: Mary Helen Fashion Sewing Camp is a four-day adventure where kids get to be fashion designers. We'll teach them all about the fashion design process, from inspiration boards and sketching, to cutting and sewing actual garments.

Description: Teens and tweens will learn new artistic skills and techniques as they explore topics such as sewing, sculpture, metals and more.
