Children's Day Celebration Held at COSI
Every child is a wonderful gift, a unique individual with unlimited potential. It is the goal of Franklin County Children Services to support such an environment for our community's children. In honor of all children the agency is hosting a special Children's Day celebration at COSI, from 5 to 9 p.m. at COSI Columbus, 333 W. Broad St. Children and families under the care of FCCS will receive passes for free admission, thanks to donations from Kroger and Huntington Banks, along with a partnership between the Franklin County Board of Commissioners and COSI, to actively offer programming that supports family learning.
All community children attending on this special day can enjoy the wonderful prizes offered in the drawings for prizes (two bikes are being given away), exciting stage performances, a visit from Columbus Crew soccer players and local mascots. The first 300 community children to enter will get in free. For more information go to www.co.franklin.oh.us/Children_Services.

Based upon one of the most popular movies of all time, this is the story that started it all. It begins when a little Kansas farm girl, Dorothy Gale, and her dog Toto are blown away in a tornado and land in a fairyland named Oz. Here she meets a very unusual cast of characters -- the Scarecrow, Tin Woodman and Cowardly Lion, and together they go on a quest to see the Wizard of Oz, each of them seeking what they want most in life. Join Dorothy as she confronts the Wizard and even stands up to the Wicked Witch of the West in this wonderful adventure filled with all the songs you know and love.
