It’s not just for adults, you know. This annual fun fest in the Short North has expanded its programming to include kids, too! This year it takes place tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 30, and here is the schedule of kid-friendly events (plus a few for your pets, too!):

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., kids can trick-or-treat throughout the Short North Arts District.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., they can hit the “Kids Play Zone” at 1077 N. High St., which includes a bounce house, face painting, Jeni’s ice cream, children’s music, and more!

At 4 p.m. comes the Kids’ Costume Contest on the Runway Stage, followed by the Kid Designers’ Fashion Show at 4:30 p.m.

And then at 5:30 p.m., it’s the Dogtober Procession with the Howloween Pet Costume Contest.

Admission is $5 and it all takes place in the Short North Arts District, between 2nd and 4th Aves. Check out their website www.highballhalloween.com for more information!
