Keeping the kids busy on President's Day

Looking to keep your kiddos busy on President's Day? Many of the region's most kid-friendly venues are offering special one-day camps on Monday, Feb. 15. The programs are ideal for working parents or kids looking for a new adventure.

We've rounded up the details for some of our favorite spots but recommend checking with your kid's favorite hangout or local rec center. Remember most of these events require preregistration.

Camp COSI

Age: kindergarten through 5th grade

Cost: $60 members; $65 non-members

Activities/theme: Myth Busters-Campers will use science experiments to get to the bottom of several myths and urban legends.

Camp Now and Then at Ohio State University's Recreation and Physical Activity Center

Age: kindergarten through 12-years-old

Cost: $31 members; $38fornon-members

Activities/theme: Campers will enjoy sports, games, crafts, swimming and other activities. Campers should bring a lunch and snacks and a swimsuit and towel.

Art with Anna Mini-camp

Age: 5+
